I try not to create posts just for the purposes of recording my dreams, but sometimes my dream-villains just have the most delightfully camp dialog. For instance, last night:
"You may wonder why I care so much about destroying *you*, personally. It's just that I want to cut you out of humanity like a brown spot from an apple. And given that you drugged yourself and came along with me, I think even you will admit to your weakness."
And then while I was still under her hypnotic thrall, she put me in a car and drove me through a portal to under the ocean and threatened me with a shark named Tiamet.
[I should probably note that this wasn't a nightmare, it was just an action-adventure dream.]

I have a lot of thematically similar dreams, but your villain has better dialogue and better taste in evil minion (shark) names.

The understanding in DreamWorld was that in the Last Installment, she had implanted some sort of hypnotic suggestion, when triggered, made me take a series of steps that put me in control, including taking some sort of drug that made me more susceptible to suggestion.
(The concept of the dream was that I was playing a video game in that fully-immersive dreamstate way where I was embodying the character but was aware that I could stop playing at any time. All the advertising for the game had implied that it would be one thing, and then when I started playing there was a bait-and-switch and the villain from the previous game diverted me to a completely different game altogether. Player-me was complementing the game writing while the hypnotic kidnapping scene happened.)
