Woo, there is both internet and my computer, in once place! Naturally, that place is not my apartment, despite the epic quest the AT&T guy and I went on this weekend to attempt to combine the two, but it does have tea and is next-door to the laundromat, so I can't really complain.

It has so far been a lovely weekend. I made another batch of the jalapeƱo-cheddar scones that made me famous on the January brunch circuit, I watched copious quantities of White Collar with [personal profile] damned_colonial, I met my wee cousin's girlfriend. [Incidentally, what is the statute of limitations for referring to one's cousin as "wee"? He is no longer a minor, but he is only an inch or two taller than me, which I think means I can call him my wee cousin for the rest of our lives. Right?]

Today's task to help me procrastinate on applying to law school is: finally doing a run of moving my flist over to Dreamwidth from LJ. Because really, it's late enough in the stage of things that "writing primarily on DW, reading primarily on LJ" is not a good solution any more.

I do have one question for those who have already completed the move: when I read my flist on LJ, the crossposter's footer means I can easily read all the comments on both versions of the post. Is there an equivalent way to get to comments in other journals in DW? Until that happens, I can't get started on the de-duping process.

Edited to add: if you are clicking over to say, "Who is this [personal profile] epershand and why has she started following me?" then the answer is, "Hi, this is [livejournal.com profile] darkest_light."

I should submit a bug report, but I think the issue is on LJ's end and there isn't a lot to do about it. It makes me really sad that this is the case, though.

It's not a moment too soon to move, now that DW has finally implemented the whole reading-other-journals-on-DW thing. ^_^ I'll wait for you to beta-test it first, though. ^_~
