Likewise--I engaged in a lot of play at both extremes of the gender-performance spectrum, and I've known a TON of kids who did the same, especially given that I grew up in a rural area where the most natural forms of play involved running around outside. I totally remember, say, dressing up in the jewelry from a Pretty Pretty Princess set and grabbing plastic swords and running off dragon-hunting.
But apparently there's a gap that's big enough for the Lego marketing department to notice, and for people in general to have been talking about as a Problem for a while? So I'm going to assume that it does in fact exist even if I've never experienced it?
