Agreed--watching those ads I really wanted there to be boy lego friends. Then boys could play with Lego Friends who look like them, and girls could play with boy and girl Lego Friends (or, cough, do what I likely would have done with a kid, namely decide that some of the boy dolls were girls with short hair and pants). But that is to say--I'd love it if Lego Friends expanded and had more options, not "I don't think Lego Friends should exist; I think they should market the existing Legos to girls"
