Ooh. Wandering through various friendslists, and found this (and your earlier piece) very useful. I read mainly on my iPhone, mainly with Stanza, but I do have an Instapaper account (which I've found useful, although I've stopped using it so much as Stanza is more flexible re organisation, note-taking, bookmarks etc). I also use Readability, but have obviously missed a few upgrades there as I had no idea they were tracking stuff and will have to consider this (especially as I mainly use it for making fic on early 2000s geocities type fluorescent pink text on black background webpages!). I haven't tried out Read it Later, but will have a look (tags sound useful) - can you tell me if it synchs all pages when you log in? I lost some stories off Instapaper when the sites they were on went down.
At the moment, for multipart fic, I am using Repagination (Firefox add-on) to force all parts of a fic to open in the same window, and then DotEPUB to convert it to an epub file, which I then transfer onto my iPhone. This does not work for every file, especially if the site has frames, but it's certainly better than hand copying stuff into .doc files...
