1. Did not know that--will correct. 2. Nope, it is not e-ink. It is an LCD touch-screen, so it uses battery faster but does not have the &$^*^ PAGE TURN FLASH. 3. Ooooh, that does look shiny! (Although apparently it has no wireless, which would be a big minus for me given my HATRED OF SIDE-LOADING) 4. At least Calibre is better than that that *%$*& Adobe eBook app, which you have to use to sideload any DRMed content onto most devices. I am seriously so excited I never have to use any of those apps again. I really love being able to use the web browser on the Nook Color to navigate to the webpage I want, download the epub, and BAM, side-loaded epub on my ereader. \o/
