Yes, I definitely recommend Christopher and His Kind. I had some problems with it, but I've been talking with Olivia and I'm pretty sure they basically come down to my being really obsessed with Isherwood and being annoyed that they picked the obvious hour-and-a-half condensed version of his life instead of the quirkier hour-and-a-half I would have picked.
