I really want to watch this show. It would be so.much.fun.

I think Josephus Flavius is my main character, but you don't have to feel too sorry for him. At the end of the show he leaves for Rome and becomes Vespasian's secretary, AND he gets to the be the primary historian of the period. I'm leaning towards casting James Callis.
